University of Arizona- Courses, Fees, Scholarships, Admissions

The 13th Arizona Territorial Legislature established the University of Arizona in 1885 as the state's first university. In Tucson, Arizona, it is a public land-grant research university. The University of Arizona is also ranked as the top R&D public institution in Arizona, and it is designated as an R1—a doctoral university with very high research activities. It is also one of three universities in Arizona that the Arizona Board of Regents administers. In 2021, the institution also purchased Ashford University, a for-profit college, and renamed it the University of Arizona Global Campus.
