Different forms of hemophilia | Dr. Panchal Lab and Diagnostics Centre | Pathology Lab in Borivali

Hemophilia A and hemophilia B are the two most frequent kinds of hemophilia.

The majority of cases are caused by hemophilia A.

Hemophilia A is caused by a lack of clotting factor VIII.

Hemophilia B is caused by a lack of clotting factor IX.

Both diseases have similar symptoms, but they have distinct clotting factors and therapies.

There is also a third, rare kind of hemophilia known as Hemophilia C. It is caused by a lack of clotting factor XI.

Another variant of this illness is acquired hemophilia, which is an uncommon form of hemophilia. It is caused by the immune system targeting blood clotting factors.
