HOW IS JAGGERY MADE?
Jaggery is commonly made from the extracts of sugarcane. The juice is filtered with the extracts remaining as sediments. The sediment is removed and the remaining filtered liquid is concentrated by boiling it. At last the juice is allowed to cool in a given container and is ready for us to eat.
